We were contracted to replace rotted wooden cross arms on hydro poles supporting 27.6kV feeder lines to a steel foundry. The existing wooden cross arms had deteriorated over time, and our team was tasked with upgrading them to ensure the reliability and safety of the electrical infrastructure supplying power to the facility.

To minimize downtime for the customer, we deployed three crews with bucket trucks, working efficiently to complete the replacement in a timely manner. The old wooden cross arms were replaced with durable new steel cross arms, providing a longer-lasting and more secure solution.

In addition to the cross arm replacement, we also added new down grounds to the poles and installed new ground plates beside the hydro poles, enhancing the grounding system for improved safety and reliability.

This project underscores our ability to handle complex electrical infrastructure upgrades while minimizing operational disruptions for our clients.
